Welcome to the official PokéBeach Community Decklist! This thread will provide you with the details, rules, and archives of the PokéBeach Community Decklist. This thread will also be where members vote for what they want the next deck to be for the PokéBeach Community Decklist. Voting will occur for one week after which the decklist will able to be built for two weeks subsequently.

In a Community Decklist, a decklist will be posted based on a certain deck. When that decklist is posted, only four cards will be given. Members participating in the Community Decklist will then be able to put in cards into the decklist and take out some cards. Everyone participating would keep doing this until everyone agrees that the decklist is finalized (with polish, techs, etc. Not just a 60-card list.) That decklist would then go to the Archive found in this thread.

Rules
  • A PokéBeach Community Decklist is YPPPY, which means you must wait until at least three other people posted after your most previous posted in that decklist until you can post again.
  • You are only allowed to add/remove up to three cards per post. However, you must explain why those cards should be added (saying something like "staple card" or "consistency" is fine)
  • No joke additions/removals. For example, if the Community Deck is Eelektrik, then you aren't allowed to take out all of the Tynamo and put in Joltik B/W.
  • Failure to follow any of these rules may result in a 20% warning for two weeks.
  • This list will be built using the B/W-On format.

Voting for Ho oh. It has the most variation and creativity in the lists, while the other decks are kind of linear and beaten to death.

I honestly think we need to see more Ho-Oh builds. Darkrai Landorus is pretty self explanatory, and I feel like voting it would be lazy.

Ho-Oh has a wide range of available uses, is flexible and easy to builda fun, creative deck with.

I think we should decide if Ho-Oh is going to be the Aspertia or the techs/Terrakion/Roserade version.

We will once it gets voted (if it gets voted). That's what the deckbuilding part is. Building the deck.

Vote Ho-Oh for pres!

Can I change my vote? :p

No, because you have a week to decide. ;p

In all honesty, you shouldn't vote quickly if you do decide to end up changing your mind.

Interesting. So this is a group activity just for fun?

Yeah, it definitely gets the community involved. It's not purely for fun though. It can help people who might have an idea about a deck but they want to look at a well refined list and reasons why cards are in there at those amounts, etc.

Come on Ho-Oh, just one more!!! (What would happen in the event of a tie anyway?)

I'm not actually sure because it's never ended right at a tie (the last couple I think recently were extremely close though). I'd probably ask any TCG Mods/Contributors that haven't voted yet to just break the tie.

Just out of curiosity, would there be a way to post more than just one variation of a decklist? Or would there be another vote to see what version gets posted?

The changes made to the list will dictate the version of the list. It's impossible to have every single variation voted as changes are almost limitless.
