Hi guys so I'm going to a cities this weekend but I'm split between hammertime and empoleon for the deck that I should bring, here's both lists:

Empoleon:

this list is rather... Unorthodox, but that would be because I only have 1 Virizion and 1 Landous, so my strategy is to swarm empoleon and use the correct tech attackers to counter most of the format.

so this is basically a normal hammertime list plus a Terrakion Tech. Which of course means that my strategy is to slow down their setup with crushing hammer and sableye, while charging up a darkrai to come in and finish the game. I would like to add a super rod or another terrakion/fighting energy/Skyla but I have no idea what to drop.

On top of helping me decided which list I should take, any and all constructive criticism on how to improve my list would be really helpful, thanks! :D
 
okay, so you mean empoleon/terrakion/accelgor? I could try that, but I've never played the deck before and I would have to get another accelgor/mew for it to work... :|
 
Im not too sure mew is needed. I saw a guy in my area running the deck, although, i never saw accelgor. It mightve just been emp/terrakion but he did play mewtwo ex. He was wrecking pretty nicely. Full control most of the time from what i remember.
 
well the only problem with running roserade is that I traded them all back at regs (I know, stupid me) also I'm limited to 1 landorus (too broke to get another one) so I'm going to have to live with it I guess...

Edit: well I have 2 mew anyways just in case... I'll see if I have enough accelgor to try that out...
 
I ran Empoleon this past weekend and was surprised how well it did I, went 3-3, however 2 of the losses my last prize was my last energy so I couldn't attack.I ran Shaymin EX and Landorus EX just 1 of each, neither of them got prized the whole tournament.
 
that's pretty interesting actually... (I don't use shaymin because I traded it away :s) I read that the meta will most likely be full of Darkrai/Hydreigon, Klingklang, donk decks, sigilyph, and hammertime.... So I'm thinking about bringing hammers with an extra Enhanced hammer and super rod, thoughts?
 
Imo I think Hammertime took a big hit with Bounderies Crossed, mainly because Landorus can dish out an attack everyturn, also with Blastoise/Keldeo they can just attach more energy than you can hammer away.

Dude, if that's the meta, use a heavily-focused Terrakion deck and screw them all. Oh wait Hammer time. Ehh, Terrakion EX could help against that w/ Energy Retrieval, and Catcher-KO'ing Darkrai is good.

You'd also obviously play Mewtwo which is decent against speed-Tornadus.

terrakion would work I suppose, but that deck kinda just died out :|

maybe I should just cut my losses and use terrakion/mewtwo/bouffalant/lando tech?
