What happens when, at the beginning of the game, you don't start with a basic in your hand. I know you redraw but what if it keeps happening? Is there a max amount of times you can shuffle and redraw?
There is no maximum amount of times. However, your opponent's mulligan draw is optional, so if your opponent does not draw 1 extra card s/he will not deck out.
