Hello all - I have started to sculpt Pokemon Figurines for giggles. please let me know what you think

the first 2 pics are before i added detail to the head and added the ears, the third pic is the best quality i could get with my camera where you can kind of make out the details in the face so far i have just done a Glaceon

Attachements are a hassle to open. I suggest you start getting used to an uploading site for conveinence.

Concerning the sculptures, they're pretty good! Do you use professional tools, because it would be difficult to begin adding details without a tool kit for sculpting.

no - i just use an exacto knife which is like an all-in-one tool if used right - i've been sculpting since i was 6

im casting it right now and going to do a plaster pour, then im not sure which pokemon to do next - i was thinking a bulbasaur

This is great! If you could get them on imageshack or something of the likes more people could see them because lots of members can't open attachments. I can't wait to see more and finished products. Could you make a Sandile or Krookodile sometime maybe? It's okay if you don't take requests.

i have to mix up some more plaster as the first batch was too watery and after 4 days it didnt set up.

as for the pictures I posted a link to the album on my facebook, it should be available to view by every one.

^Sandile... No, just do a Krookodile, It is much easier, and is a lot cooler.

heres an update for ya gang!

I started work on an Excadrill, one of my faves from the new Gen - just wonder why they couldnt do him more justice in the TCG...

this is just the start, I still have to do the arms and a suitable base.

thanks MrGatr - I am kind of unpleased with it so I am planning on going back in and re-doing the Excadrill. Im also going to start casting my Glaceon soon and hopefully making enough to start a booth at a con next summer :D. thats still a ways off and you never know what might come up.

Well Its 5am, and for the last 2 hours I have been working on this - Daft Punkachu!

Its just a McPikachu from the most recent Pokemon fast food promotion that I sculpted a miniature Daft Punk Guy helmet on.

It does lack some of the detail of the larger helmets, but its all there for the most part.
 
DAFT PUNKACHU?! Your sir are awesome. I love Daft Punk especially Guy's helmet. Keep it up, maybe you could make a Bangalter Pokemon next :3

And you're looking at Daft Punk's #1 fan on PokeBeach. ;) Please keep it up, I always love seeing art such as this on PB. And heck man, I'll buy a Daft Helmet from ya. How much are you asking, and what type of helmet is it specifically? (Meaning how it's made, what it's made from, etc.)

a generic helmet usually is about 150 with out electronics and hand crafted with fiberglass. that would be for a guy or thomas helmet and either regular or tron versions. with electronics its about $300 before shipping. they do get pretty expensive.

I'll be finishing up my Excadrill by the end of next week - havent had time to work on i with my pokemon vids and starting a website (pm me if you want details on that)
 
Shoot dude... You just puzzle me with your amazing talent, and your epicness with these... You sir are amazing. :D
