Nice picture of Geno there. It's certainly my favorite. (I know his real name is unpronounceable, but how do you pronounce "Geno"? Is it "JEE-no"? That's how I've been pronouncing it.)

Say, what is that Mushroom down there made of?

Thanks! I always pronounce it "JEE-no" as well, though you have a good point there. Hm.. I'm sure there must be some one on the interwebs that knows the answer to this riddle.. I shall investigate!

The mushroom was made out of Crayola modeling clay. I painted it with... I'm not sure what paint. The artist comment probably says, that was a year ago now.. So.. I've forgotten. ^^;

Thank you both kindly!

Kawaii, Lucario, despite not having much of a background, was pretty hard since that pose was completely composed by me with fairly little reference.

Groudon465, Porygon Z was a interesting one to do, I thought the background was a cute concept for that character.

As for that Geno question Ophie asked. I found some where that Geno is a different spelling for the Italian name Gino, which is indeed pronounced "JEE-noh."

Thanks again!

Ah, thanks for figuring that out for me. There's a line of frozen pizzas that shares that name, which is how I've always pronounced it, which means "Geno" is probably a real first name.

I've seen those Crayola modeling clay bags sold at the 99 Cents Only store. Supposedly, they're really good to sculpt with if you're short on moeny as they don't ever dry out and don't leave your hands greasy.

Crayola modeling clay is actually very good for sculpting. Its not very messy, you don't have to fire it, and it drys out fairly quickly (the mushroom actually took a several days since it was so thick). I suppose its not as pretty as traditional sculptures, but for smaller projects its very nice and inexpensive.

So I got it backwards? Crayola actually dries out FASTER than regular clay?

I know I can't sculpt for beans...In a 9th grade art class, my clay mug was the only one to have its handle fall off in the kiln. It's now a vase.

Well, I have no idea how fast other clays dry. Its not one that you use for play, its actually one you use to make something and let sit, until it drys out. Its not one you fire either, obviously.

I have done some clay work with the kiln, which was always hit or miss. I put up some from my senior year in my gallery, though its all likely towards the back now. Most of its pretty.. bad. I did make a couple of vases and cups I'm proud of, though none of them are posted.
