Pennsylvania States
After getting destroyed by Blastoise last week at Maryland States, I decided that I was going to play a deck that had a semi decent matchup vs Blastoise, because that deck ruined my performance last week with my Aromatisse deck. I decided to play a team plasma deck, but mine was pretty different from a lot of other ones that I saw. Here's the list I ended up going with for the tourney:

I end up whiffing cut pretty badly at 15th but I'm still pretty satisfied since I only had 3 games of experience with this deck prior to states. I get 9 packs for top 16 and I get Mega Blastoise and Mega Venusaur, so that was pretty cool.

Legendary Treasures Prerelease
Hey guys what's up, its Drew here. I haven't made a memento report in a very long time, because I haven't had the motivation to go to any tournaments I wasn't going to go to this prerelease, but once I saw the pull rates I couldn't resist. This girl was Logan's sister and she was cool and nice. She starts powering up her Genesect and I get scared. She has 3 grass energy on her Genesect and I have 2 energy on my Tornadus. I figure im going to get swept since Genesect does 130, but she misses 2 crucials energy drops which nets me 2 Hurricanes to KO Genesect. He starts Teddiursa to my Stunfisk. I go first use Muddy Water to hit for 40. He draws a Minccino to keep him in the game. I knockout Teddiursa with Muddy Water and put 20 on Minccino. He promotes Minccino and doesnt draw a basic, so he passes and I win. I feel bad about the way I won, but thats why there's never any legit Pokemon games haha. So I end up 3-2 which I'm pretty happy about having a winning record in my first Masters tourney even though it was just a prerelease
In the last 2 packs I pull nothing much besides a Gallade. BTW guys I think Gallade is a playable card. It can OHKO ANY Pokemon out besides Black Kyurem with Crystal Edge (Who uses that?!?!) in one hit with a Silver Bangle.

You guys may think I'm disappointed from these results, but to be honest I came into this city just to have fun with a deck I really enjoy. I was just trying to get the feel of the Masters environment. I feel like I now know a lot more about the meta so next week I can go for the victory

Hey guys what's up, its Drew here. I haven't made a memento report in a very long time, because I haven't had the motivation to go to any tournaments
I wasn't going to go to this prerelease, but once I saw the pull rates I couldn't resist. Anyway I pulled a Shaymin EX and a Mew EX. I was really happy, because those were the 2 EX's I wanted from Shiny Collection. Here's the deck I played:Pokemon (17)

Round 1 vs. Logan w/Keldeo EX/Outrage Dragons
I never meant this kid, but he was pretty cool. The first battle I misplay by putting too much damage on his Zekrom, and he sweeps me with Outrage. We battle again for fun, and he beats me with his Keldeo EX. gg's dude you played well.

Round 2 vs. Sarah w/Gold Reshiram 0_o/Genesect
This girl was Logan's sister and she was cool and nice. She starts powering up her Genesect and I get scared. She has 3 grass energy on her Genesect and I have 2 energy on my Tornadus. I figure im going to get swept since Genesect does 130, but she misses 2 crucials energy drops which nets me 2 Hurricanes to KO Genesect. I pretty much sweep past that. gg's Sarah I had fun playing you

Round 3 vs. Mathew w/Black Kyurem EX/Zekrom EX/Emolga
He starts Teddiursa to my Stunfisk. I go first use Muddy Water to hit for 40. He draws a Minccino to keep him in the game. I knockout Teddiursa with Muddy Water and put 20 on Minccino. He promotes Minccino and doesnt draw a basic, so he passes and I win. I feel bad about the way I won, but thats why there's never any legit Pokemon games haha. Anyway gg Matt, and good luck in your future matches

I never really got much going in this game, and she dominated me via Victini and Cobalion. Sorry I didnt give you much of fight, but it was still fun playing you gg.

I got my Mew up quickly and kept copying Tornadus's attack, and I just swept her. Sorry about the bad luck. Better luck next time. Thanks for the games gg

So I end up 3-2 which I'm pretty happy about having a winning record in my first Masters tourney even though it was just a prerelease
In the last 2 packs I pull nothing much besides a Gallade. BTW guys I think Gallade is a playable card. It can OHKO ANY Pokemon out besides Black Kyurem with Crystal Edge (Who uses that?!?!) in one hit with a Silver Bangle.
