Hello again!

The name is LostVoice. Some may have seen my Fakedex page. I also noticed there is a general art section so I went about creating a galley featuring my photography. I have no professional training or even professional equipment but I still enjoy taking photos. More so, I enjoy the experience of traveling to a certain location and the time spent enjoying the location.

If this type of thread is not allowed, then I apologize.

As well, I will be linking photos from my deviantart page. This is due to the fact that my photos are generally to large to be put on a forum. Resizing the pictures, in my viewpoint, distorts the quality which is something I always try to keep.

Onto the gallery!

I would love to live in Japan, but sadly I don't know any Japanese at the moment, I might go there for a visit some time in the distant future....

You photograph some nice things, and overall they look good. I would work a bit on focus, as several things seem to be in focus when they aren't the subject. The rule of thirds could also be better utilized in some of them. They are good as a whole, though, and you have lots of potential so keep it up!

Somewhere down the road I would like to buy a much nicer camera. The one I am using now is 1) broken and 2) not too good.

As well, some of these pictures are downloaded from my shutterfly and facebook pages. Reason being my old computer broke down thus losing all my photos from my trip to Japan last year.

That is why maybe some of them may be a bit blurry since I ...re-downloaded them?

Thank you all for the comments!

I like this, you certainly have some talent. The only problem is a slight blur, but it's not a big thing. Your focus is spot-on, and really captures the point of the picture.

Also, can you tell me what Japan is like? I'm planning on going Spring Break, so I'd love to know what to expect ;D

Thanks! I took several college classes in digital photography. I'm slowly relearning the basics. I hope in time, along withy fakemon, they improve.

As for japan, this is my third time being in japan. This first was with a university school trip for 2 weeks. The 2nd was as a exhange student for 3 months. Part of which I traveled on my own. This is really my first time living in Japan. Do you have any Japanese experience? Do you intend to come alone, with friends, or with a school group. Spring is very nice but can be rainy. Where do you intend to travel to? If you would like I can give you some pointers.

Yeah, most likely. Though you never know where life takes you. I will probably go to grad school afterwards. I will post more pictures later today.

I added some new photos up so please check them out!

Wow that's just some lovely photo work right there and no professional camera either? That's mighty fine work right there. If you plan to keep traveling I suggest you make a trip down to Arizona Monsoon season is quite amazing and the sunsets here are quite break taking just a suggestion though keep up the fantastic work looking forward to more.

Tokyo is a awesome place. Sometimes I feel lost there and a bit....crowded but its a cool place. I am used to being one of the few foreigners in my area so be surrounded by other foreigners is a little strange haha.

When I come back to the States, I would like to do a cross-country trip. I just might hit up Arizona. My camera is as unprofessional as you can get. Its been dropped, stepped on, and sat on lol. In fact ,t he LCD is all cracked from a accident in August. It still shoots tho.

I just returned from a trip to Hiroshima to visit old friends (I studied abroad there before). I will upload some photos from the trip this week.

The lanterns and pink team photos are the only ones that appeal to me. The rest just look like tourist photography, sorry. I'm guessing you don't own a professional camera, but a digital one? If you do own a professional one, you need to work more on focus, etc. In most pictures there is nothing that really stands out, so work on that.

I'm not saying it's bad, but it needs some work.

Anyway, Keep up the good work!

No, like I said I own a point-and-shoot digital camera. Really? Touristy? Hmm. I figure touristy would be having myself or someone else plastered right in front of the picture. I hate those type of pictures lol.

I'll keep that in mind.
