Love these three lists btw. They're very neat and organized. Keep up the great work.

Zapdos ex is coming as League Championship promo in Japan, so it can be removed as an International exclusive.

1692359752434.png

Also shouldn't this Pikachu be removed from the 'Likely to remain Unreleased' list? It exists in both Japanese and English (English version shown on your list). I understand the English version is only available in Asian countries, but does it still count as an English promo? Regardless, the fact that it is promo #101 and has EN as the language makes it sound like we will get this promo down the line (without the stamp of course). That's my theory anyway.

UPDATE 08/31/23:

ADDED

Roaring Moon

(Roaring Moon ex Box, Ancient Roar) and Iron Valiant
30px-Pok%C3%A9mon_ex.png
(Iron Valiant ex Box, Future Flash) to the list of Internationally-Exclusive Cards.

REMOVED

Zapdos
30px-Pok%C3%A9mon_ex.png
(151 ex Box: Zapdos ex, Pokémon Card 151) being released as Champions League 2024 winner's prize.

The Pikachu was added because at the time the text was "cards outside of Asia" so that card made sense to be in the list as it's likely not coming out of Asia. But eventually I changed the text to "outside of TPC markets" which then made it not make sense as it has in fact a Black Star promo number, but forgot to remove it from the list. It has been updated now.

(Victini Battle tournament, Obsidian Flames)
to the list of Internationally-Unreleased Cards.

I have a feeling that some of the unreleased cards (including some of the likely to remain unreleased), could be released in a potential Shiny Set, if Shiny Treasure contains a billion Shiny cards. I also see Shiny Treasure being the set where many of the English cards get their Japanese equivalents ahah

IR Charmander (Obsidian Flames Elite Trainer Box, Ruler of the Black Flame) is being released in the Special Deck Set ex Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise.

I've got a funny feeling that Cleffa will not get a release outside of Japan as that Pokémon, if you look at it carefully, has both a Weakness and a Resistance error. The Cleffa card recently released in Obsidian Flames has the correct Weakness and Resistance.

The card has been out for a while now and TPC has not come forward to "apologize" for any errors or issue an errata on the card, so even though it looks like an error, Fairy is weak to Poison in the VG and Poison is currently Darkness type in the TCG so it might be intentional since this is not a reprint of the Cleffa from OBF, but a totally new card.

I don't think it was intentional, I believe they thought Cleffa was part Psychic type and it's just lucky that it still makes sense as Fairy is weak to Poison and resistant to Fighting in the games.

Fairy Pokémon in the TCG have always been weak to Metal and have no resistance, so it wouldn't make sense for them to change it just this one time if it was intentional. Although we havent seen any Fairy Pokemon cards since this Cleffa (other than Scream Tail who is part Psychic so it doesn't count), so if they did decide to change the weakness/resistance chart I'd expect to see more Fairys weak to Dark and resistant to Fighting. If they continue to be weak to Metal then that will seal my thoughts on this.

That all said, I can still see them releasing this Cleffa in English as it is. I don't think this "error" will stop them from releasing it.
