I absolutely love the new rules video! I think it's worth a topic of its own....or is that wrong :O

Definitely worth a laugh, and i think it's gonna cause people to pay attention!
 
Yeah, it's great for advertising the real rules. Those are just a joke-ish condensed version.

This was an excellent idea, IMO. It just might get the attention of some n00bs.

I also thought it was a bit funny, too.
 
This way the forum n00bs will look at it wondering what it is (Yes I'm talking to you Kruci and Zilla :p)
 
It is catching everyone's attention and the message is presented in a clear and ammusing way.

I wouldn't worry about. The video will probably only be up there for a day or two until everyone has the chance to see it.
 
Yeah, I think it was made a few months ago. Late is better than never, though. Hopefully after it's gone from the top of the page, there will be a full size version placed in the forum rules thread.
 
Water Pokémon Master was the only one who could put it up there :/ I think he would be the one to do it considering he knows how to get the .html for it.
 
Yeah, I can't remove it from the top of the page. I'm not even sure if the [doHTML] tags were enabled for anyone yet. It would be a good idea. :]

I have to say this video is...brilliant:p It caught my attention! I think having it be permanent wouldn't be a bad idea, just moved somewhere. I think it really would catch newbs attentions (and n00bs I suppose). Nice work HS!
 
The video is nice & good too. It will certainly catch the attention of the newbies. Also, I like the Magikarp swarm part. Magikarp FTW!! :p Anyway, good job... :)
 
Job well done, great video and a way to make people notice the rules more. Also telling viewers to go to the forum rules was good too.
 
Yes, I wouldn't like the video to be at the top page forever, but it should certainly be added somewhere.

I sort of wished they would have used a different pokemon than Magikarp, though.
 
Magikarp is the most useless Pokemon (in theory), so they (HS) used the most useless Pokemon to symbolize a noob. It's pretty smart. I wouldn't like it to be at the top of the page all the time, but there's really no other good spot for it to go to. I'm keeping track of the views in the Rules/Newbie Guide. :]

People are actually talking about the rules so I guess it worked... it might be a good idea to do an in-depth animation as opposed to all those long paragraphs.

Yeah, I thought so. But still, it would have been funnier to see a Legendary doing that kind of stuff.

Yeah...the long paragraphs did seem like too much.
