Hi

I'm kinda new at this and I wanted to try a ev training a team I tried it on 1 pokemon I see how it works but it takes a really long time even with the pokerus and an power item.Is there any thing I can do to make it faster?

thanks kamil

RE: ev training

Not really. If you have a Power Item and Pokerus, it actually shouldn't take more than a few hours for a complex spread.

RE: ev training

If you really need help, I offer an EV'ing service. I can get a pokemon EV'ed in less than an hour

RE: ev training

how many pokemon it would take to get my ev's I killed 15 goldeen with my charizard and i had pokerus on it with a power bracer and i got 18 .I'm still a bit confused on the the whole thing so a bit of overall help would be appreciated.

thanks

kamil

RE: ev training

Read this. Your charizard probably ALREADY had EV's on it....

RE: ev training

If you follow the above guide and use power items, Pokerus, and Vitamins, EVing one pokemon would only take about 10 minutes at the fastest.

EDIT: If you have a Charizard, it pretty much HAS to already have EVs. Unless you evolved it completely with rare candies.

RE: ev training

There is such thing as an IV calculator, not an EV calculator. What the IV calculator does is it calculcates a Pokemon's IVs if you already know its level, nature, stats, and EVs. To figure out your Pokemon's EVs, you will have to count them yourself. Just note, an untouched (recently caught or hatched Pokemon, with no added experience to it) Pokemon will have EVs of 0 in every stat.

Also:
If you have a good Pokemon and you want to EV train it but you have already battled with it you can use EV reducing berries. These first reduce a stats EV level to a hundred, then reduce it by increments of ten. You can find which berries correspond to which stat online.

Wow, and here it usually takes me about 2 weeks to finish EV Training a Pokemon with the Power Items, Pokerus, Vitamins, and such while breeding them at the right Nature while trying to get good IV's for them (the hard part of course). IV's aren't usually important unless you're running a Trick Room Team to have a Pokemon with the lowest Speed stat possible.

If anyone's ever told you how to EV train a Legendary Pokemon correctly or more sense getting the desired Nature to benefit it's stats use the Synchronize trick with Abra. There's a 50% chance that the trick will enable you to get the desired Nature you want but it works, I've done it with a Dialga in Platinum and a Moltres in SoulSilver. Got lucky getting the IV's for it for Hidden Power Grass as well after a few tries.

RE: ev training

Well, the way you can make it ten minutes is let's say you want to max out speed on a pokemon. That's 252 speed EVs. First, equip the Pokemon with a Power Anklet and the Pokerus virus. With all of this, beating a Pidgeot will give you 2(3+4) or 14 EVs. Then get 6 Pidgeots, useful for EV training anything in speed. Then use secret base connection to get an enemy trainer with 6 Pidgeots. Beat that trainer with he Pokemon you are using and you instantly get 84 speed EVs. After exactly 3 battles, your Pokemon will have 252 Speed EVs. 3 battles usually will take under 10 minutes if your Pokemon is at a high enough level.
