How do I get boomerang on sattelite?

We are going to switch providers very soon and we are getting direct tv. I am wondering how to get boomerang and I have heard it is a requested channel so I am wondering what we do to get the channel because we are going to call them bext week so we can get set up for next year?

I thought so because someone here on the forums told me about it but I could not remember if it was or not. I found out that we can't get direct tv where I live because the don't service the area so I am wondering if verizon would carry it?
