so who likes the Harry Potter books and movies? they are my favorite movies and books in the world!

I found them interesting, but the movies really differed from the books in some instances. The fourth movie was the most accurate to its book counterpart IMO.

Really? I think the 4th was the absolute worst in terms of book to movie closeness. They had to cut soooo much stuff it's not even funny. The book was way too long to begin with. >_>

I'm not sure which movie is actually the closest, but the 1st movie is always going to be high for me. They stayed pretty true to the major points IMO. All in all, I do fully enjoy the series, books, movies and all. I've basically grown up with the series from a young age reading the books.

dmaster out.

Well, IMO the fourth movie covered the plot line the best, whereas in like the 3rd or 1st part of the 7th movie they cut some pretty important stuff, but the first book is up there for me as well.

no i think the 4th was not really the same like it was neville who gave harry gilliweed in the movie but in the book it was Dobby.

I liked the 6th book best. They did a pretty good job, but they had to cut off stuff (like Harry breaking up with Ginny)

That is why I'm glad of the two-part 7th book.
It leaves room for lots of 'stuff'.

THE THREE HALLOWS STORY WAS GREAT
Ya'know with death and all. The animation= so cool.

Well, I lost intrest probably around the 3rd book/movie. But all my friends were going to see the 7th movie, so I decided to come. It was really good.

The 7th book/move has been pretty close for Part 1 at least. I think it's been the closest so far. The 7th book was definitely my favorite.

Say what you want, but the 5th book will always be my least favorite. The move was all right (the effects for Dumbledore vs Voldemort were pretty awesome), but the book (especially the first half) was just plain boring IMO.

The 6th movie was fairly close to the book too. I just think the overdid the part where Harry was high on drugs on the Felix Felicis potion, but it was probably the funniest part of the entire movie. :p

I think the movies have done an OK job considering the size of the later books. I went to the midnight premiere for part one! I've read all the nooks and seen all the movies so far, so I guess I'm a fan.
