For team building, the Mega Swampert has to be a Swampert with a Mega Stone right or can it be already evolved?
EDIT: I assume we can make edits outside of the talking phase? :U
Also, the moveset and stuff I use to battle Jade doesn't have to be the moveset that has to be used against the champion right? (if I win that is)

No, it must be holding the Mega Stone as a Swampert and no, the movesets don't have to be the same.
That's definitely relevant if you get something like M Garchomp which may be subjectively better in it's normal form with life orb or rocky helmet.

No, it must be holding the Mega Stone. You don't have to actually Mega Evolve if you don't want to.
