Something tells me we'll be getting that third version later on after all. Both moves are Ice Type yet Cold Flare causes burning and is special (Reshiram) and Freeze Bolt paralyzes and is physical (Zekrom). The thing is nobody can learn it yet, despite the moves existing in the game's program (If these moves are indeed meant to be branded upon Kyurem in a later game, Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon, and Frenzy Plant did the exact same thing when Ruby and Sapphire was released, as the only way to learn those moves weren't introduced until FireRed and LeafGreen, which were released about a year later). Any opinions?
Basically other than the mentioned side effects above they're charge up moves like Solarbeam is, with their base power far surpassing Reshi and Zek's Level 100 moves (Having 10 more base power and is more likely to hit the opponent).

There was a thread about Kyuremu where we were discussing that but I guess the thread was deleted cuz I never saw it again... In fact, I think those moves are meant for Kyuremu but only in the 3rd version...

Though if a Kyurem is traded from that game to B/W it'll be able to keep the moves unlike how Giratina can't change to it's Origin Forme in D/P.

There is also another move for victini in the game. It is like "V something something" great idea though

You're thinking about V-Generate, rockinpikachu.

I think this is pretty interesting, like Hydro Cannon, Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, Volt Tackle, Unown !, and Unown ? were in Gen. III. These moves are obviously meant for Kyurem, but you never know, these may be event-exclusive moves instead of new tutor moves or parts of a new level up list.

And also something like Obliterate (not the berry killing one) as the second
I think we get it next game and frozenworld gets a boost as well. They are going to be one him someway, even if by an event. To bad all events are just get x pokemon, bye.
Itd be fun to get a ticket or something to a place with Kyreum knowing these moves.

Interesting find. This adds fuel to the theory that Kyurem will get a new form in the third game. I was surprised to see that he couldn't learn these movies in the first place. Thanks for this.

Yes, Cold Flare and Freeze Bolt are most likely for Kyurem. Reshiram and Zekrom get two signature moves that match their highest offensive stat - Reshiram got two special moves, and Zekrom got two physical moves. Since Kyurem has equal Attack and Special Attack base stats, they gave its "ultimate" signature moves the chance to hit from both sides of the spectrum. Oddly, its Lv.50 signature move is special, and doesn't have a physical equivalent.

In the current games, Kyurem has many differences with Reshiram and Zekrom, unlike most other Trio Pokémon. Its base stat total is 20 points lower than the other two (660 versus 680), so it may be getting an alternate forme to compensate for this (and the argument that its full body looks "incomplete" further hints at a "complete" form). It doesn't learn an "ultimate" signature move at level 100 like Reshiram and Zekrom, so that's most likely where Cold Flare and Freeze Bolt fit in.

Anyway... I guess I got a bit off-topic there. The discussion just seemed to be flowing that way. xD I believe the chance of these two moves belonging to Kyurem is pretty much guaranteed.
