Okay, so when in play, a Fossil (such as Skull Fossil) counts as a basic pokemon. Right? Right.

Q1: If I have a skull fossil on my bench, and use Sand Reset, does the fossil get shuffled as well?

Q2: If I have a Cranidos or Rampardos on my bench, and use Sand Reset, does the whole pokemon get shuffled or does the he remain unaffected?

Thanks in advance.

In both cases the Fossil remains unaffected, because you are playing it as a Basic Pokemon. (It counts as both a Pokemon and a Trainer while in play.) Rampardos would not be shuffled away, so fossils are safe from a Reset.
