These alt arts are wonderful.
okay, the full art Celebi V and Blissey V are Ultra Rares I wouldn't mind pulling instead of an alternate art. The backgrounds on them work so well with the Pokémon.
Remember a year and a half ago? Celebi GX would've had a flat green background full art if it was printed... it's nice to have the EX-style full arts back!

Yeah! I remember the first time I saw Sableye V's FA and how I was praising Arceus for getting rid of the solid color FAs of the SM era... and now I feel that the SWSH FAs are much more colorful than the older EX FAs!
Prepare the scalpers getting angry because this set doesn't have a $200+ chase charizard or pikachu ultra rare.
Especially not with the glitter, which I hate. IMO they somehow managed to make rainbow art cards even more unappealing by adding tacky glitter all over them.
I hope they do away with that at some point.

I'm both fascinated and sad. It's the same as for Matchless Fighters. So many beautiful arts, where the chance to get even one is so slim, unless you spend 100s of $.
I decided to open 2 Matchless Fighters boxes in the hope to get one of the 4 alternate arts I really like (3 birds+Slowking), and I got a Karen and a Slowking FA. Karen is my favourite of the 4 trainer FAs, so that is not bad, but the birds go for $100+ on Ebay, so more than one box, so I will never buy them.
Now there are another 6 extremely beautiful cards, but that's 6/50. You could open 100 boxes without getting all of those.
So it is very good that those cards are made, but I am sad that there are more and more cards like those released that I can never get.

There was a chance, gold and regular Houndoom and Octillery were released in Battle Styles.
Pokemon turning their back on collectors. So many alt arts which will be 80-150 dollars range. Go and try to collect that, pokemon collecting used to be fun, now it is impossible, even regular vmaxes have jumped 50% in battle styles than their usual price, alt arts up to double in normal pricing as in Darkness ablaze and VV. It is becoming harder and harder to collect and the Pokemon company is not making it easy. Pure cashgrab for people ready to cash a fortune on products so they can pull at least one alt art or secret rare. Ps. Battle styles pull rate was an insult to fans, players and collectors, absolute trash
Because some of us don't like the alternate arts and prefer the regular versions with the cool poses
Well, unfortunately we all can't have bad taste.
Would much rather prefer something with effort put into it instead of a re-used rigged model.

Doesn't really matter, the current market will create equivalents. Two years ago Tyranitar V full art and the Urshifu alt full arts in Battle Styles would be $30 cards at most. Right now they're $120+.

My favorite alternate art cards are Shadow Rider V, Ice Rider V, Zeraora V, Shadow Rider VMAX, Ice Rider VMAX, and Galarian Rapidash V. Although all full art and alternate art cards look amazing these six stand out for me.
