If I have 4 Exp. Share tools attached at the same time... 1 on my active 3 on my bench... when my active gets knocked out I can choose which pokemon the energy gets switched to, correct? Or can I only use 2 Exp. Share at a time?

UPDATE - So, you don't attach 1 to the active and 1 to the bench and switch between the two... You only need 1 exp. share in play in order for the effect to take place.

You can't use the effect of your Active Pokemon's Exp. Share since it was knocked out.

You can use as many Exp. Share effects on your Benched Pokemon, up to the number of Basic Energy cards on your KO'd Active Pokemon. However, you can only use each once per KO.

you don't need one attached to the active to get the effect since it states that once your active is knocked out by damage from an attack (damage swap, energymite, special conditions, Machamp SF all null the effect of Exp. Share) you move a basic energy card attached to the active to the pokemon that Exp. Share is attached to.

so if you have only one basic energy on the active and 2 benched with Exp. Share, you have to decide who gets the energy before the active pokemon is replaced.

you might be thinking of Energy Link
