In the world of Pokemon, rivalries among trainers are formed everyday. Pokemon are no different. Pokemon constantly fight to see who deserves the right to be called the best. Unleash the ferosity of Dark Pokemon and lay waste to your opposition or vanquish foes with the might of Light Pokemon. With new Shadow and Divine cards to master, a whole new level of Pokemon awaits!

This is the fan set that I'm currently working on. I haven't uploaded the pics yet because I haven't finalized the list yet, but if you have suggestions for good rival lines, please let me know. Right now I've got these lined up:

Lugia and Ho-Oh
Dragonite and Tyranitar
Umbreon and Espeon
Gardevoir/Alakazam
Ninetails/Arcanine

Other cards like the other Eevee evolutions and some different trainers enter the mix as well. As mentioned above, there are new Shadow and Divine cards, which are a mimic of Light and Dark Pokemon. So in this set there is a multitude of Dark, Shadow, Light, and Divine Pokemon, all for you to catch!

I'd like there to be somewhere around 92 cards in the set, counting ex's. Here are the cards I have so far: (83 total)

Oh, and I'm planning on making this set by myself. I appreciate any help, but other than making my set list, I'm only working on this when I have the time. It's just a fun project. I'll post some picture links some other time.
 
I want to stay away from a set full of legendary Pokemon.  Each legendary easily has its own counterpart (Celebi/Mew or Mewtwo/Mew, Mew/Celebi/Jirachi, Kyogre/Groudon, Rayquaza/Deoxys, etc) and I want to primariliy focus on Kanto and Johto generations (I have a special plan in store for R/S/E and D/P for my next project).  I don't mind sticking a couple 3rd generation in there, but I mostly want to stick with first and second.

I do like the Seviper/Zangoose rivalry though, I totally forgot about them...

I'll host a couple pictures tonight to give you guys the idea.  Remember though, that the cards are NOT finalized yet.  And as a heads up, I take no credit for making the blanks, sprites, and other symbols and backgrounds.  I simply put them all together and made the attacks and stats.

EDIT: Also, just for a heads up, I am NOT going for the realism of the official cards. I know where to get the fonts and how to space, but I don't own Photoshop nor do I have any desire to. I use...brace yourselves...Paint and Powerpoint for my creations. So I know they don't look professional, but I work with what I've got. They look pretty close to the real cards, minus the obvious font changes and slight oddity of energy symbols. So don't judge them on how they look, mmkay?
 
I'd really like to do this solo, that way each card maintains a balance between Dark and Light Pokemon (as in one is not obviously superior in gameplay than the other). With me doing it by myself I can keep everything in check.

And the card list is still WAY in its beta stages. Until I have a finalized card list, I'd probably not accept any help anyways, because I'd hate for someone to work on a card only to find out I'm not going to use it, you know?
 
Ooh, I like that. I ditched Scyther for Heracross. Nice! ^_^

I added a couple new card links for you guys to oogle. Also, does anyone have an Energy card blank? Pokemonzeo doesn't have it, as well as Pokemon Palace Network. I've googled for it but still found nothing. I really don't want to scan the cards since I want to redo the blanks a bit.

Any links or whatever would be greatly appreciated!

All of them are from R/S/E generation. Remember, I want to keep as many of them out of this set as possilble. The few that I have in there (Gardevoir, for example) was the only real rival I found for Alakazam, unless someone can point to one from the Johto era (I was thinking Gengar, but then I thought, not really...)

I've been trying to figure out a rival for Houndoom. Was Magcargo really its rival? Interesting...a Light Magcargo. I'll look into it. And I'm glad you're enjoying my set!

I've been sort of preoccupied the last couple days, so no new cards have been made. I haven't shown all the cards I've made yet, so perhaps tonight I'll host some more. Thanks everyone for your continued input!
 
Sorry, but I'm just used to 3rd generation Pokemon.
