DS Touch Screen Problems

Ok, for like 6 months now, my DS Touch Screen is being stupid.
On the right side of the touch screen calibration is perfect.
Though, on the left side, I'm touching like a centimeter away from the very edge of it and it says I'm touch the side.
This is very annoying in most games as you can imagine.
And I have actually sat there for two hours trying to calibrate it.
It just won't calibrate.
I've tried everything I can find about it and nothing works.
Anybody got any ideas to save me the trouble of sending it away to be fixed?
 
This is happening to me! It annoys me in battles! at least yours isn't as serous!

P.S. I forgot where to calibrate it :(
 
You calibrate it in the DS options thing.
You get into it at the bottom of the main DS screen.
(By the way, it's nearly impossible for me to get in to that function any more the screen is so bad. I can't find the place to tap on my screen to get in to it.)
And not having a good screen makes training Whyt annoying to train in FFIV. D:
 
Try to clean it and see if it works then or call 1-800-355-3700 for service help on your DS.:)

I 've had the same problem.
Is your DS a DS lite or a regular DS?
 
That's strange. Maybe you should clean it, and then see if there are any major scratches in that part of the screen. Lol at Whyt Training with a bad DS screen. :p

^That includes cleaning methods.
And, the only scratch on the touch creen is barely visable and is on the good side of the Touch Screen.
 
The only thing even close to a Video Game store here is Walmart. >.>
And the Walmart people here are all stupid.
I'm gonna have to send it in, This is the second time I've at to send it in.
First time was because the Top screen was broken.
Hopefully, they just send me a new one. >_<
 
wal-mart ppl are stupid... if not for them, i would have a DS right now...

anyway, same thing happened to my friend... He took it in to a Video game store, and they fixed it right up...

how do you not have a video game store near you?? here, we have like 5!!
 
I live in a little Town in the middle of nowhere.
The only thing we have to be famous for is "Cottage Country" of "Home of Bobby Orr" >_>
