A new Pokémon Tool card has been revealed from the Japanese set Ancient Roar. Ancient Roar and Future Flash release in Japan on October 27th. We expect most cards from these sets to be incorporated into Paradox Rift, our November set.
Defiance Vest – Trainer
Pokémon Tool
If you have more Prize cards remaining than your opponent, the Pokémon this card is attached to takes 40 less damage from attacks from your opponent’s Pokémon (after applying Weakness and Resistance).
You may attach any number of Pokémon Tools to your Pokémon during your turn. You may attach only 1 Pokémon Tool to each Pokémon, and it stays attached.

Very useful for Stage 2 ex's that doesn't quite do enough damage for a OHKO. ?? But still, tank is pretty weak now, with Chien-Pao/ Gholdengo running wild. ?

40 less is actually a lot; if we ever get a Stonjourer V-Max style deck in the future, this is the kind of card it would run.

Isn't there a Revaroom that can have multiple tools? That could be pretty good post-path to the peak

I think this kind of card would not be helpful right now with the format we are in where there are quite a bit of decks that can OHKO easily anyway.

Decks currently can OHKO, but the tool forces them to use extra resources to ensure that OHKO

Y'all need to give specific examples of what survives what to prove the worth of a card like this.

this could be good in stall wigglytuff build she would essentially have to get hit for 390 by ex's and 420 by vs with a vguard
