Charizard playable? That is the question!
Here is a prototype that will be tested tonight.

Pokémon: 13

4-1-4 {R} Charizard (BC)
4 {C} Ditto (BC)

T/S/S: 31

4 Ultra Ball
4 Rare Candy
2 Level Ball
4 Catcher
4 Switch
2 Random Receiver

4 Skyla
4 Juniper
3 N

Energy: 16

4 {C}{C}
12 {R}

Strategy: The idea is simple. If you look closely looks like a quad Charizard, Ditto is here to maximize your Charmanders. Seriously? Yes! Ditto works like 4 more Charmanders. Like I said, I'll test it tonight.

T1:
> Ditto or Charmander, doesnt matter
> Ultra Ball two energies for a pokémon and juniper if possible.
> Charmander charges itself with Draw In. Ok, 3 energies on!
T2:
> Skyla for Rare Candy
> at this point you have Split Bomb on, and with a DCE you have a huge second turn Scorching Fire.
> In my head I see myself using Split Bomb way more than Scorching Fire, but its absolutely situational.
T3:
> Time to start with another Charizard line, with Skyla its absolutely easy to do it.

Leave comments guys, and later on I'll post some battle results as promised.

Bye!

list seems pretty tight and consistent as can be. so the only change i would make is...

-1 ultraball or switch(if you want to maximize chance at discarding energy)
+1 computer search(pretty much the same as ultraball cept you can grab any card...)

ill test the deck out and give more advice, computer search is the only obvious advice i can give right now...

Just me, but if you're going to run straight charizard.
i would 100% run it with celebi ex.

what to take out, would be however it play tests best.
maybe level balls
maybe a ditto and a level ball.
those seem to be the only exchangable cards in the deck for the time being.

after your charizard has tanked 80-100 damage.
celebi enables you for 3 energies to use charmeleon's rage attack.
50+ 10 for every damage counter. that is very viable if you dont have the 5 energy and want to KO anything on the board fast.

Agree with this post. I would run Celebi EX with straight charizard. You can also use charmander's first attack when you want to. Maybe takeout a part of the charizard line (charizard and charmander) and run only 2 rare candy (for charmeleon's attack).

- 1-01 charizard
- 2 rare candy

+ 2 Celebi EX
+ 2 charmeleon

Imho, Ditto does not provide you any significant advantage other than "masking" the basic Poké you will evenually place on it. Secondly, it has the same amount of HP as Charmander. So, I'd suggest you replace all 4 Dittos with Virizion (NV) which has 40 more HP, will help you with card draw (Double Draw), and it can also provide a counter to the Blastoise-Keldeo decks you will face (after adding some Blend (PRGD) or G energy) .
