Ruling Card Questions!

I am not sure if i can ask those questions here but i think it is the most appropriate place.

I am going to participate Battle Road but I don t know if i can put some cards, please help me:

1, old Professor elm s training method (DF) It reappers in HGSS.

2, Double Colorless energy (The old one) It reappers in HGSS too.

If some cards needs references, what am i suppose to do?

You do not need card references for either of those cards. If you have older prints of these cards you can use them in your deck.
Certain cards need references (like Pluspower), but those two aren't them.
