Booster boxes, where do they come from?

The existence of booster boxes has always puzzled me... I mean does Pokemon have some sort of way to order them or where do they come from?? If anyone could tell me about how they come to be I'd like to know

Look around on eBay, card selling sites like TnT, PokeOrder, etc, and I wouldn't be surprised if people on here have booster boxes for sale. I'm not sure if you can order directly from TPCi or not though. ^^;

Booster boxes are generally sold to retail stores and card shops. Since most retail stores around here don't sell loose packs anymore (just the blisters), but local card shops are most likely to have booster boxes on display to sell loose packs that way.

You don't understand, I'm talking about how people get them to begin with before it goes on eBay etc.

tcpi has wholesalers they sell cards directly too in unimaginable bulk numbers.
those are then distributed and the further they go and each party they cycle through
the price goes up and up and up.
