Hi. I started doing digital art for the Create-a-Card contest done in the Fan Fakes forum. Here is some of the art I have produced for my entries into that contest (Oldest to Newest):

It's not a difficult process at it's heart, and I was a good artist when I first started (nor am I really now), so I feel the information could be useful to those discouraged from digital art by lack of experience or the intimidating learning process.
