This is a disscussion on Arceus.

What are your views? will the card be good? Will it be powerful, or just will there be alot of decks becuase it is Arceus can you can have a deck full of them?

Yea the one that lets you get 6 energy and attach them. THen you can move it with his stadium, Also which LV.X would you use? I know that you would use pantheon but woudl you use maybe 1 psychic Jolt arceus?
 
i would think 1 of each of the arceus lol, just play the one that uses all other Arceus' attackes, and play the other two so you can can alot of damage

Anyone know when AA (or AR, IDK what its called) comes out in America?
 
okay, thats what i thought, but then i feared that was for Japan, which would stink, becuase i want the new Toxicroak for a deck
 
I'd love to see an Arceus build actually win a Cities. Really, Arceus isn't that great. The fact that it can type trump is pretty good, but they all only have decent attacks for such a hefty amount of energy. I guess the best Arceus are the Coloress, Darkness, Metal, and Grass Arceus.
 
well, if you play enough switches or unknown Q for some, you can retreat and use Ultimate Zone to move energies
 
AA hits the US on November 4th. Seems like the sets get released so close together...

But yes, you can have as many Arceus in your deck as you want. So far, I think the best ones to use will be the ones that were in the japanese half decks. Those are the Grass/Fire, and the Psychic/Lightning. The psychic/lightning lv x has a pretty good attack, but would need something to help power it up.

And did anyone else notice that the Arceus Lv Xs have no weakness???

Every Fall set always comes out 1-2 days before my birthday, or 1-2 days after my birthday. Why won't it just come out on my birthday>_>

I noticed it. That gives the Arceus more type trumping advantages, and doesn't let any Pokemon crush it that badly. So it is pretty safe to play Lucario GL.

but with Lucario, you can't use rippling Wave for energy excel

It seems Arceus, if you plan on useing rippling wave and i don't know why you wouldn't, has no room for techs, so it seems its guna rely on your t/s/s line heavily, so a defen start would destroy him
 
^Have you heard of unown R? It can be used for a draw tech, and with pokemon rescues, it isn't half bad.
Also, you could play unown G to protect Arceus from getting Macheap'd.
 
I forgot to mention one problem with Arceus: Mewtwo Lv.X. Unless you are teching a stage 1 or DGX, then you have to depend on Warp Point's and some other Arceus just to get around Mewtwo.
 
^ You could tech a {P} and a {W} arceus for type advantage against mewtwo, thereby getting a 2HKO on mewtwo. That would be only one more arceus to tech, not that big of a deal. (I know that you said that but its better than dialga shutting off your bodies)
 
i was also thinking for techs was 4 SSU, just scoop up an arceus and then play your Ninetails or w/e

The Psychic one can't do anything to Mewtwo, and Waterceus can only 3HKO Mewtwo.
 
I tink the card stinks too many energy. But maybe someone will crack the deck hopfully

lol. Level up the {P} arceus into pantheon arcues.
Have the necessary energies to use water arceus's attack.
3HKO---->2HKO.
