3DS Virtual Console and Store?

Hi guys. This isn't a discussion about the 3DS itself, but a question about part of the 3DS. That's why I didn't post this in the 3DS Discussion Thread.

Does anyone know when the Virtual Console and Store is going to be available? I'm dying to blow my money... SPEND my money on GBA games. I can't wait to see what Pokemon looks like in 16:9...

The update is schedueled for May, but theres no specific date. And yes, I too am dying to blow my money.
 
The current assumption is late May... but I'm not sure if the games will be stretched to fit the width of the screen.
