(3) Burger King Promotion, Deck List Program Updated, Explorers of Sky Release [6/3]

My guess as to why the Pokémon Trading Figure Game has been discontinued is because kids keep stealing the figurines. While you could also argue that kids can steal the cards from the packs as well, they're slightly harder to break into and are a lot less attractive to little kids than figures right there behind a plastic case. It's a huge shame...I might import a few from Japan, as they look so pretty. I originally got these for the masterful sculpting. And they're way cheaper than anime figurines. Who needs shelves full of Reis and Asukas when I can have shelves full of Salamences and Teddiursas?

As for the Burger King promotions, I noticed it when I stepped into a Burger King today. I just wanted to get two Whopper Juniors, but these looked pretty neat. Too bad they're completely useless. Maybe I'll see if I can get the Shaymin one.
 
In America we get Burger King reprints, in Japan, they get McDonald originals. Isn't that special.

If you work there I don't think you can get them. I think it is a customer only thing and I think workers are banned from any type of promotion. Usually if you work at a place that gives things away you as a worker are banned unless you go in and pay as a customer because you are a employee and can get enough to get those items in store so you would not be able to participate in the promotion unless you pay as a customer on your own time. Someone correct me if I am dead wrong because if I am not mistaken that is usually how it works.:)
 
Yeah, you'd have to pay as normal, but you can always set aside the stuff you want to buy. :F

Anyway, I only need a couple more Blue card Frames, 1 Giratina and 2 Palkias for a complete set for my mom and me. I know it's going to end soon though. ;o

I've got half of the cards and accesorries already. I have all 3 sinnoh starters, Pichu, Pikachu and Dialga, and both rockers and the red card frame. Luckily I'm so underweight that the doctor put me on a diet to actually GAIN weight(SCORE! I get to pig out!) so I can get BK pretty often. But seriously, commercials like that are what cause people to make fun of pokemon and call it immature...

EDIT: Well, looks like they're done with it. Now they've got Transformers toys, so i don't think we'll see another BK pokemon promotion for another 6 months or so.
 
Probably around a year, if that. Whenever the new cycle comes out. Anyway, my mom got all the posters and around three cases of toys for the league she's starting and she got the posters were free because they had thrown them out a few minutes ago. Lol
