The TV isn't normally on the edge of its stand. The DSL didn't go out a few years ago when we had an equake either. It's just bad luck.WPM, you want more "death-free earthquakes" even though you TV broke and your DSL went out again?
California unlucky? It's the best place to live. No tornadoes, no hurricanes, no trouble. An occasional 10-second equake every 10 or so years. That's pretty good. And I never said the power went out. The part of the plant that was set on fire was apparently for other cities, which lead to a few of them having outages.Still, lucky nobody was hurt, but it'd help to move away from California, its just an unlucky spot. By the way, if your DSL is out, and apparently there is no power, how did you post your update?

It doesn't snow in California...
Ophie said:So, you got Verizon DSL? I do too. Are you stuck with one of those Actiontec gateways? They have a bad history with the Wii.
