His cat looks just like a Meowth. I bet the ASPCA will come in and claim the cat for copyright infrigement.

@ Timeshift: You're right; it's Nintendo vs. the Internet, or Nintendo vs. the World. Nintendo is fighting a losing battle here, whether or not the letter is real. This stunt is pushing many fans away, some who don't even like Pokémon, but the other game series Nintendo releases to the general public.
