(1) First Official EX Pokemon Ad, Thundurus vs. Tornadus Gift Set [7/22]

That poster looks downright amazing. They need to make more posters in that style in the future.

In any case this seems to confirm that the EXs will be different if they're talking about posting the mechanics of them in August. As for the Thundurus and Tornadus half decks, the only thing I'm curious about is weather or not these will be new cards or not.
 
yea. to be honest, about the half decks, there are too many of them in japan with sub-par cards and they just get made into crud sets like parts of UD.

however, with the thundurus and tornadus half decks, i think they will be reprints with alternate artwork, reason being they are making landorus into a Full Art
 
Wouldn't it make more sense to make EX's in R/S remakes?

I like FA's more than EX's, they look way more cool.

i dont think anything is confirmed about the EX.

from my understanding, EX is a whole new game mechanic and is not related at all to the old ex, other than sharing the same letters
 
I really want that poster! I'm excited to see EX again, as well as Mewtwo cards :3
 
This poster just got me pumped. I'm so excited for the new EXs, I just hope your opponent doesn't get to take 2 prize cards when they knock one out. And I agree with Metalizard, they better do a poster with Kyurem that looks just as awesome.
 
I am glad the EX sets are coming back because they were so strong. Are they going to make it so you have to have the regular Pokemon to be able to use the EX cards? The same way as the LVX cards in D/P? For example you would need Empoleon in order to use Empoleon LVX. So what would happen is you would need the regular card to use the EX card. Are they going to do this or leave the old way?:)
 
On the ad it shows mewtwo in a cuty so I think they are going to do a movie around september in Japan.
 
I wonder if the Reshiram and Zekrom will be different versions or the same ones from the BW set. In any case, I'm itching to see Mewtwo EX
 
Very cool poster. I hope Ryo Ueda does the artwork for the EXs as he did for the exs back in the day.
 
Yes! The return of EX's! I hope they make them even cooler than the originals.

And that poster is sick. I want one. And a Kyruem one to match.
 
This would be my first time using EX pokemon.Perhaps they want the newer players to have a chance with older card-types.(EX etc.)
 
Mewtwo looks legit in that poster! I'm pretty excited to see what he brings to the tables - Kyurem also!
