I think you've got the wrong Yveltal in your list. Yveltal EX is the one who wants a bunch of energy attached to him to do big damage with Evil Ball. Little Yveltal (Yveltal XY) is the basic, non-EX pokemon who grabs energy out of your discard pile with Oblivion wing and attaches it to your bench

i think tyranitar/Bats could be really good, especially with Level ball coming back to fetch the first two stages of bats and ultra ball to get crobat and throw away energies for Yveltal XY to grab. Maybe Pokémon fan club to get zubats as well?
