Help Advice for a League Cup

Hi, I'm going to an Expanded League Cup coming up and I need some advice. I'm playing Night March, but currently do not have access to any Tapu Lele for the time of the event. What I do have, though, is Jirachi EX. Would Jirachi EX be a feasible substitute for the event, or would it be better to...

    Discussion Do you remember when...?

For fun, I wanted to start this thread as a look back across the years competitively. Remembering things that happened, cards that were good, etc. I'll go first. Do you remember when Fright Night Yveltal was a thing?

    Discussion Zoroark in Night March

Hi, I have some expanded tournaments coming up, and I have a question. How more advantageous is a 2-2 Zoro line in NM, that a 1-1 line. It seems like 1-1 should be enough, but all the San Jose top 8 NM decks had a 2-2. Is 1-1 enough?

    Discussion Decks without Tapu Lele?

I know that Greninja is the main deck that can function w/out Lele, but are there any others that don't need, or could function at a tournament level w/out it?

Discussion Does Greninja have a place in expanded?

With the recent ban of Forest and Archeops, Greninja seems to have new life in Expanded. It has good matchups against Volcanion, and can beat Trev with a defensive Rough Seas build. What do you think about Greninja in Expanded?

    Discussion Fun Alternate Formats

Personally, I am a fan of Alternate formats, such as U150 and the recent C/UC format that's started on this website. I was wondering if you knew of any other fun alternate formats, or ones that you made yourself!

Discussion What to do Without Tapu Lele?

Currently, I have no access to any Tapu Lele, and I'm very hesitant to spend $60 on just one. How does one get around this, and maintain a decent deck consistency? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Discussion Does Greninja have a place after rotation?

With the new rotation coming up, and the release of Burning Shadows, people have been back and forth on whether Greninja will still be relevant post-rotation. What are your thoughts on it? Personally, I think it will still remain strong, especially with Guzma, Acerola, and Choice Band.

Discussion Is the paywall in Competitive Pokemon unhealthy?

This is something I have thought about, and it bugs me a bit about the game. At the current moment, to do good at a standard Pokémon Tournament, one will need to have Shaymin EX. Other necessities are VS Seekers and at times Trainer's Mail. Most other times, a player will need expensive EX's...

    Discussion Vespiquen with Raticate

So, the new Raticate has been getting a lot of attention recently, and I was wondering if it could work with Vespiquen. I know Vespiquen utilizes Zoroark, Zebstrika, and Garbodor, but could Raticate be a useful addition to Vespiquen's artillery? Would a 1-1 line be sufficient, or would it be...

    Discussion Yanmega in PRC-On

Hi Pokebeach! I was looking at Steam Siege and I was very interested in the new Yanmega card, whose ability lets you attack for free if you have four cards in hand. His attack is ok, doing 120 if there is a tool on him. He is fairly easy to set up with Forest of Giant Plants. The only tool I...

Discussion Is Karen the Death of Night March and Vespiquen?

For those of you who don't know, Karen is a card that will be released in Japan and eventually here. It is a supporter card that says each player shuffles all the Pokémon from their discard pile back into their decks. This poses a big problem to Night March and Vespiquen, enough to make them...

    Discussion Potential of Plus Power

For those of you who don't know, Plus Power makes your Pokémon's attacks do 10 more damage, before weakness and resistance, that turn. This be useful in expanded, for getting needed KOs. What do you guys think?

Discussion Night March with Mew-EX or Vespiquen

I'm a Night March player right now, and was wondering if it is better with Mew or Vespiquen. There are pros and cons to both. Mew EX Pros: 120 HP Dimensional Valley Can copy attacks other than Night March. Can be powered up with one basic energy (Dimensional Valley + Joltik) Cons: Gives up 2...
