  • oshawotter97, Fire Emblem: Awakening is so amazing! It has an awesome story and you can marry the characters. There's a Demo on the E-shop! You should so try it out!

    My Pikachu just learned Thunderbolt!
oshawotter97, Not me, I can learn every nook and cranny of a game.
I'm training on Route 12 now.
Getting slaughtered by myself is pretty shameful.
The first time I play through a Pokemon game, all my Pokemon are overleveled, afterwards, any replays, my Pokemon are underleveled.

Do you play Fire Emblem: Awakening?

You told me your FC is in the Forum. I'll register you tomorrow.
    oshawotter97,
    That's what I usually do!
I've got to get some of my Pokemon up to a level so I can do that.
I know FireRed/LeafGreen better than I know the back of my hand. I can go through Rock Tunnel without Flash and traverse Victory Road without battling a single Trainer.
    oshawotter97,
    I know!
All but my Venusaur is underleveled.
I'm in the Dojo getting slaughtered my a trainer with my name. Aaron.
oshawotter97, Scratch that, a level 37 Hypno used by a trainer in the gym just beat me. I'm going to Saffron to train.
    oshawotter97,
I've decided to go with Shelder. I'm now about to go up against Koga. The bane of my existence. The one battle I shall use my Immunity Snorlax.
    oshawotter97,
Yeah, I can't trade on my FireRed. :/
As soon as I get the Pokeflute (almost got it). I might just go down to Fuschia and get the Good Rod and catch myself a Starmie. That would give me a good Water type that evolves into a Water/Physic. That would give my team good coverage, plus, I've never trained a Starmie before. What do you think of that?
    oshawotter97, Nice!
I'm in Lavender Town's Pokemon Tower.
    My team:
    Venusaur, level 33
    Nidoking, level 23
    Pikachu, level 21
    Eevee, level 25
    Fearow, level 24
    Growlithe, level 19

I just caught a Cubone and Haunter. I'm thinking of switching Eevee out for Haunter. What do you think?
    oshawotter97,
I just beat Misty. It's the first time I haven't had any trouble from her. I guess I've just grown so much as a trainer.
    oshawotter97,
The good old days is right!
I replayed my Soulsilver not to long ago.
Aside from Ivsaur and Pikachu, I'm doing a Pokemon I've caught but never actually trained before run!

    What's Dratini's moveset and gender?

I would love a Pokemon game where you had the option to join the Evil team.
It would add another storyline to the game.

    oshawotter97,
    I'm replaying through FireRed.
    I chose a Male Bulbasaur. It's now a level 19 Ivysaur.
    I caught a level 3 Female Pikachu. It's now level 11.
    I caught a level 6 Male Nidoran. It's now level 8.
    I caught a level 10 Spearow. It's now level 11.
My Ivysaur owned GaryOak's (my rival) level 18 Charmander.
I'm at the Nugget Bridge battling the endless array of trainers. :p
    oshawotter97,
So I am officially addicted to the Season 1 Pokemon Theme song. I think I'm going to replay through my FireRed for old times sake.
    oshawotter97,
The first Pokemon I raised to level 100 was Charizard. I had to raise it to level 86 just to beat the Elite Four the first time.

Fire types are overused. I like the fact that Grass is weak to Fire. I love seeing the faces of people after I beat them with my Grass types.

Have you ever experienced a critical capture? It's when you throw a Pokeball and it only shakes once and then it captures the Pokemon.
It's really rare, although, it's happened to me lots of times.

Also, cause I feel like bragging, on my FireRed, I migrated all my good Pokemon to Pokemon Platinum. I then decided to go get Mewtwo with nothing but 5 level 20 Pokemon. I got down to my final Pokemon and final Pokeball. Mewtwo had full health. I threw the Pokeball and caught it. I nearly died of happiness.

Another time I replayed my FireRed, I caught every legendary with nothing but Pokeballs. Do you know how hard that is? It's pretty hard. You have to be extremely patient.
    oshawotter97,
Skrelp is a Mock Kelp Pokémon.
The good thing about X and Y is that, unlike previous Generations, you can ask for Pokemon you haven't seen yet in the Global Trade Station.

I'm more of a relaxed gamer. I've never done competitive battling.

Now that you can see the EV's in Gen VI, I'll probably EV train for stronger Pokemon.

Here's a little trivia about my gaming experience.
When I played Pokemon LeafGreen for the first time, I chose Bulbasaur. When I got to Blaine's gym on Cinnabar Island, I only used my Venusaur to defeat him. Without healing!! By the way, in case you don't know, Blaine is the Fire type Gym Leader in Kanto.
    oshawotter97,
What do you think of Skrelp?
I like it a lot and I'm going to train it. Plus Water/Poison is a good type combo.
    oshawotter97,
I forgot that in Japanese Dark Type is Evil Type.

People are speculating that it'll be Grass/Fighting.
I personally don't like Fighting Type that much but at least that would help against the Ice Types. Either way, it's going to have 6-7 weaknesses.
