  • Yeah, I have ideas a-plenty, but for some reason find it difficult to focus them for their best use in fiction writing.
I rarely do short stories anymore because I usually can't figure out how to finish them after I start. My last completed one-shot was a fic called Lupine-a side story based on a PMD fic I was working on called Biohazard, which starred a renegade wolf who just narrowly escapes being killed by his father. It didn't have much to it, though. I also had another two I started working on some time ago but never posted. One was originally an entry for the first round of my Round-Robin story contest, which was about a group of knights enjoying a night at a pub when they suddenly get into a fight with a gang of theives. The other was a horror/comedy involving a group of teenagers trying to find newly-discovered ghost Pokemon in an abandoned factory; they succeed, but find themselves in trouble because of how they Pokemon turn out to be a group of possessed robots (all of them being a Fakemon of mine called Zomborg) that gang up on them with intent to kill.
Ah, okay! Still, I just wanted to make sure you knew you weren't going to suddenly get in trouble for something you just didn't know about. I'm usually pretty diligent about keeping the worst of the worst stuff under wraps.
Okay, I see where your questions were leading (glancing through your new thread in the Writer's Corner). The only times I actually have to close fics is when they're absurdly short (i.e. anything with so-called "chapters" that look like they're less than a page or are just a few paragraphs long), a virtual block or wall of text that's extremely difficult to read, or so badly written than even a first-grader could have produced something more legible. I'm already aware of your work and what you've posted thus far is fine. It could use some refining, but that's just something that will come with more practice.
I've actually done stuff like that a few times before to see what sort of reaction I get. People around here know I have a really wicked sense of humor, especially when it comes to using humorous avatars.
    Yep! ;P

Actually I just put that as my away message to see if anyone would pay attention to it. I may switch to a Miltank avvy sometime soon just to play around with the notion for a while.
No problem. It took me a while to figure that out when I first started joining online Pokemon forums a few years back.
To use a pic like a banner to your sig, you actually have to upload it to a photo hosting website like Photobucket or Tiny Pic. The you have to link the image from there to your signature and use image-tags like the following ones to make it appear in your sig.

    Code:
    [IMG]Photo's Link[/IMG]

The maximum signature size (if I recall correctly) is 250 pixels high by 670 pixels wide, so you may have to resize the image accordingly to make it fit; otherwise it'll just be cut off at those size limits.
Thanks! It was actually one of two she promised to try. The one I'm using right now is a peacock fakemon called Destail (sorry, can't link the pic right now because I'm online via my cellphone). It turned out a lot better than my original design, and she's definitely a good artist.
[member]Unique Username[/member] did actually. She did it after I asked her if she'd try to draw some pictures of my fakemon.
TyphloWolf, and stop by you did!
I'm doing fine, myself, actually. Just working on a little project I want to get done before the weekend.
