I honestly think, if every set is compromised of at least 6 exs and 3 of them are megas at the end of 2025 we'd have ~20 megas (there could possibly also bigger sets with 8 exs and 4 megas.) so If we assume that's the case with every set until the end of 2026 we should have space for at least 50ish megas (assuming legends za will introduce new ones.) and this math is only with the lowest we can think of. Maybe at the end every mega gets a ex, via specialproducts, startersets and cards in sets. I'd really love that

I would think that just because a Pokemon ex gets a starter deck doesn't necessarily mean it couldn't also get a set as well.
"Abyss Eye" just really seems the most logical for Mega Gengar. Maybe Mega Sableye but it doesn't seem like the most popular Pokemon to highlight a set.
With the High Class set right after Ninja Spinner and Storm Emeralda, I wonder if Mega Greninja and Mega Rayquaza get a second SAR in this set lol
Well....unless you've seen the leaks, I'm not sure you have any way of connecting the dots. Personally I have and I think there's a good chance this is a zygarde set
I don't think Abyss Eye releases this year. Should be their January set.
Maybe Abyss Eye will be a Lost Zone set? We didn’t get one in the SV era for the first time since XY, which was a decade ago now. “Abyss” could potentially refer to the Lost Zone, though it would be forgoing the naming scheme of Lost Thunder and Lost Origin. Otherwise, Zygarde or Primal Groudon/Kyogre alongside something like Mega Alakazam or a new Psychic mega might be a good reason for the naming scheme. It might relate to something in ZA and we have no way of knowing (forgoing leaks)

“Abyss Eye” could be Mega Starmie, right? It’s like a deepsea Pokemon that seems extraterrestrial and we know there’s been a lot of buzz about the Mega for ZA.
unfortunately we know that neither Shedinja or Musharna will be getting megas in the base ZA games through leaks. We know that Zeraora + 5 other Pokemon will get megas, but I doubt they would come so quickly in our January set
I think one of those should come after the high class set. The schedule for Japanese sets has been very clear in the last years and I don't think the high class set will only come in January.
But shouldn't it be a shiny set again, if they follow their schedule? So basically shiny Megas and their pre-evolutions and maybe a few shiny alt arts. I hope it will be more like the past shiny sets, not as packed with SARs like like Terastal Festival ex.

Completely agree specifically on how close Storm Emeralda and Abyss Eye were trademarked and their names kinda match too. Not to mention Charizard and Greninja being big enough highlights
Have it happened in the past when a later trademarked name came out before other trademarked names? (As in MEGA Dream Ex coming before Storm Emeralda who was trademarked a few days before)
Shiny sets are all 3 years, the next should be in December 2026.

That's because every block has lasted 3 years. Since this is a 4 year cycle between gen 9 and 10, it could be that we won't get another shiny set until 2027.
