“Phantasmal Flames” English Set Revealed for November!

We can reveal Phantasmal Flames will be the name of our second Mega Evolution set!

The set will release on Friday, November 14th. Prereleases will take place from November 1st through 9th.

Based on the name, our set should be based on Japan's Mega Gengar ex & Mega Diancie ex decks and Inferno X featuring Mega Charizard ex. They will release in September.

You might have a point, however Pokemon has printed alt arts in decks before like the Gengar and Inteleon VMAX’s that got put into Fusion Strike, so it’s still possible. I also think it would be odd for them to promote Gengar as a set headliner and not give it any kind of special card.
 
I feel like we may not get a SIR Gengar on Phantasmal Flames as it's a Mashup of the preconstructed japanese decks, but it's a given that the mega dream ex is a reprint set of all cards of the year so Japan may get the Gengar SIR there and we can get it in the set releasing in January

"Phantasmal Flames" sounds like a name my 9-year-old self would've given a self-built deck with Charizard and Gengar. Is phantasmal even a real word? That is legitimately the worst English set name I have ever read.

Imo Jungle and Fossil are terrible set names.
Yes, Phantasmal is a real word, but just the name itself doesn't make or break the set!
