I believe the only generation set that will be printed is generation 1, 5, 7, and 8. For every other generation, there are hanging generation.

Gen 2 has Crobat, Scizor, Politoed, Espeon, Umbreon and more.

Gen 3 could maybe get one but there is a lot of baby Pokemon.

Gen 4 has a ton of hanging evolution.

Gen 6 has Sylveon but that still might be too much.

Gen 9 has multiple as well.
 
I'm a bit sad that Black Bolt & White Flare are probably the last sets of the Scarlet and Violet era. It feels a bit abrupt. I wish we had a last end of year set to conclude this era.

There's only two new babies (or new Pokemon related to older lines) in Gen 3, Azurill and Wynaut. And babies aren't even connected to their evolutions in the TCG anymore, so if they really wanted to do another regional set, Hoenn is probably their best bet.
 
Zygarde! Another great episode this week! Really enjoyed listening! Usually I listen in whilst driving home from league or work, and when I get back I'll watch it on YouTube whilst unsleeving my decks! I think black and white is by far the most mid generation like there is so much bad Pokémon which I don't care for, but there are some absolute bangers as well which kinda cancels it out. Zygarde. I loved scarlet. Admittedly I didn’t have any severe bugs, just pop up here and there. But that’s the first game since platinum that I completed the Pokédex. It was fun to do. I don’t get the echo chamber of hate. Unless I really just got so lucky to not be affected by bugs.
