Poltchageist, Heliolisk Illustration Rares from Crimson Haze!

The illustration Rare prints of Poltchageist and Heliolisk were just revealed from S5a Crimson Haze! The set will release in Japan on March 22nd. It should combine with April’s Mask of Change to form our Twilight Masquerade set in May.

Poltchageist – Grass – HP30
Basic Pokemon

Ability: Shadowy Concealment
As long as this Pokémon is on your Bench, prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks (both yours and your opponent’s).

[G] Hook: 10 damage.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Heliolisk – Lightning – HP100
Stage 1 – Evolves from Helioptile

[L] Wild Charge: 70 damage. This Pokémon also does 20 damage to itself.

Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

It also has healing powers tho. Depend son the connection I may guess.
 
Stunned by Poltchageist. It’s sinister, creepy, cool, and memorable all at the same time. Amazing!

Would love to see some follow-up artwork (like another card by the same artist) where the child is still alive. Like, the child is a little older and hanging out with Sinistcha. Then again, if the same kid is hanging out with Sinistcha in the future… probably not a good thing.
 
Heliolisk could be a one of tech to take out Mimikyus in Miraidon ex decks--if that's still a thing post rotation.
 
Heliolisk art kinda not doing it for me tbh, but I also love Helioptile more so I'm sad it's not getting one instead ?
