“Pokemon TCG: Holiday Calendar” Revealed!

We now have a product image and full description for the “Pokemon TCG: Holiday Calendar” we announced yesterday.

So far we’ve only seen the product listed for Europe, but there’s no reason it won’t release elsewhere. It will hit store shelves on September 1st and cost around $50. It seems to be an advent calendar with new TCG items to open each day. It’s obviously being sold in September so fans have time to buy it in time for December.

Ring In the Holidays — with Pokémon! Get in the holiday spirit with a Pokémon present every day! From fan favorites like Pikachu and Lapras to season-celebrating Pokémon like Delibird, you’ll find a holiday parade of Pokémon fun, booster packs, and other surprises in this holiday calendar—with a new item to uncover every day!

The Pokémon TCG: Holiday Calendar includes:

  • 8 foil promo cards with a festive stamp, including 2 Pokémon V and 1 Pokémon VMAX
  • 2 Pokémon coins
  • 2 colorful sticker sheets
  • 1 sidekick dangler
  • 6 Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield Series booster packs
  • 6 Pokémon TCG 3-card fun packs
  • A code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online

This item seems to be inspired by the “Pokemon TCG Countdown Calendar” released in October 2008. The cards in that product featured a special snowflake stamp.

“Fun Packs” are those sample packs that have released in magazines for certain sets over the years; they usually contain three common cards, one of which is a reverse holo. The sidekick danglers have also released in a few products.
