Rillaboom VMAX, Cinderace VMAX, Inteleon VMAX from ‘VMAX Rising!’

CoroCoro magazine has provided an early look at the three featured VMAX cards of VMAX Rising! The set will release in Japan on February 7th.

The translations below are preliminary and may be inaccurate due to the blurry state of the images, but the official Japanese Pokemon TCG website should reveal a clearer look later this week. Thanks goes to @ddsxtggg for the images!

The set will also host Pokemon V of Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon. They will be included in our Galar Partner Tins on February 27th, a little over three weeks after Japan gets them in this set.

Thanks goes to Franco T. for the translations!

Dude, Rillaboom VMAX, Cinderace VMAX, and Inteleon VMAX are CLEARLY evolves from Rillaboom V, Cinderace V, and Inteleon V, respectively. We won't get Stage 2 Vs anymore. All Pokemon Vs are basics.

By judging the artwork of Cinderace V from the tins and from the set, I conclude that the tins are just alternate arts of the regular ones from the set.

It's kinda weird because usually the TCG has pretty good foresight into planning the appearance of new Pokemon/forms as cards but I guess they really did know nothing about their new Gmax forms O:

Part of me was lowkey hoping the pack artwork was just a tease for the actual VMAX cards being their Gmax forms lol

They probably want to wait until the Pokemon are available in the games so they can sync marketing.

Right? Most folks would've replaced it with a stronger version or just a better move all around by that stage of the Pokemon's life.

why are they making VMax cards without using Gigantimax forms? I get they aren't out in the games yet but I thought that was the whole purpose of Vmax. I guess in reality it's just their excuse to make Hyper Rares of the starters since they're only doing HR's of Vmax cards. But at the same time, they own the TCG. They can do whatever they want.

Nothing stopping them from making Hyper versions of normal V Full Arts. Also, looks like 5Ban somehow got worse? The models on these (especially Inteleon) just look gross lol. Just let Ryo Ueda or at the very least PLANETA take care of the FA's
