(2nd and 3rd places will win 100,000 yen each, and five artists will win a jury prize of 50,000 yen each.) In 2019, the winner’s Gardevoir illustration was featured on a promo card that was given out at Pokemon Center stores. The illustration was selected out of more than 5,300 submissions. Judges for the competition include Tsunekazu Ishihara (The Pokemon Company President), Hirokazu Tanaka (President, Creatures Inc.), Yuji Kitano (Creatures Inc. Director Development Producer), Reiko Ujiie (Director, Creatures Inc. Pokemon CG Studio Art Director), Kenichi Koga (Creatures Inc. Art Director), and other illustrators. This is the artwork I’m submitting. Help me make this happen, fam!
