Fall Tag Team Tins Also Feature Garchomp/Giratina and Mew/Mewtwo-GX!
September 6th will see the release of three Tag Team tins featuring the special art versions of Lucario & Melmetal-GX from Full Metal Wall, Garchomp & Giratina-GX from GG End, and Mewtwo & Mew-GX from Miracle Twins!
We posted about the Lucario & Melmetal-GX Tin a while ago, but didn’t know who the other two tins would feature. This means the special art versions of Garchomp & Giratina-GX and Mewtwo & Mew-GX will be removed from our Unified Minds set in August to be used here.
Each tin will retail for $24.99 and come with the featured Tag Team card, four booster packs, a metal Tag Team marker, and a PTCGO code card to unlock a playable deck. The tins will use the same new designs as the Spring Tag Team Tins.
Lucario & Melmetal-GX – Metal – HP260
Basic Pokemon (TAG TEAM)[C][C] Metal Fist: 50 damage. Search your deck for a [M] Energy card and attach it to this Pokemon. Then, shuffle your deck.
[M][M][C][C] Heavy Impact: 150 damage.
[C]+ Full Metal Wall GX: Until the end of this game, your [M] Pokemon take 30 less damage from your opponent’s attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance). If this Pokemon has at least 1 extra Energy attached to it (in addition to this attack’s cost), discard all Energy from your opponent’s Active Pokemon. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
When your TAG TEAM is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards.

Garchomp & Giratina-GX – Dragon – HP270
Basic Pokemon (TAG TEAM)[C] Linear Attack: This attack does 40 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)
[P][F][C] Calamity Edge: 160+ damage. If your opponent’s Active Pokemon already has any damage counters on it, this attack does 80 more damage.
[P][P][F]+ GG End GX: Discard 1 of opponent’s Pokemon and all cards attached to them. If this Pokemon has at least 3 extra [F] Energy attached to it (in addition to this attack’s cost), discard 2 of your opponent’s Pokemon and all cards attached to them instead. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
When your TAG TEAM is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards.

Mew & Mewtwo-GX – Psychic – HP270
Basic Pokemon (TAG TEAM)Ability: Perfection
This Pokemon can use the attacks of any Pokemon-GX and Pokemon-EX on your Bench or in your discard pile. (You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack.)[P][P][C]+ Miracle Twin GX: 200 damage. If this Pokemon has at least 1 extra Energy attached to it (in addition to this attack’s cost), heal all damage from each of your Pokemon. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
When your TAG TEAM is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards.
