Blizzard Town from ‘Sky Legend,’ Booster Box Promo!

Blizzard Town, a new Stadium card, has been revealed from SM10b Sky Legend! The set will release in Japan on April 26th. Thanks goes to Tunu for the translation!

Blizzard Town – Trainer
Stadium

Each Pokemon in play with 40 or less remaining HP can’t attack.

This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can’t play this card.

We’ve also learned the booster box promo for Sky Legend will be a new Victini. No image or spoiler is available yet.

This looks like a lot of fun, but I'm not sure how best to utilize it.

A lot of "bad" cards can actually be really useful in the right situations. We'll just have to wait and see what the community comes up with!

Pokemon looked at BW's Frozen City and they went: "this isn't cold enough!" And then this card was born.

This could have mileage in the right situation.

Offensively, it could work in spread decks. Baby Lele can use Magical Swap to even trigger the effect and shut down one or more of an opponent's loaded (with energy) pokemon.

It also works in decks that have a hard time 'hitting for numbers' - with this card, close counts.

Defensively, this also seems a potential tech against metal decks where half the cards subtract damage and it's near impossible to get OHKOs.

    Nope. Goomy just died.
    RIP Hustle Band Goomy, 2018-2019.
That’s fake news, the card specifies remaining HP, so Night March should prevail.

    Oh, this is spicy!

I'm thinking Expanded. The Raticate that drops an opponents Active down to 10 (without coin toss). Use the Triple Colorless Energy to do it. Run a couple Special Charge and the Mr. Mime that blocks Acerola. Run Rescue Scarf to get back your Raticates and force 6-Prize game. Maybe Hypnotoxic Laser to take KOs when you need to. Use 1 Shadow Triad.

And then 4 of this to prevent them from taking a swing at you as well as being able to win the Stadium war.

As if Lost March doesn't have enough trouble on its mind atm. (getting 1 shot by zapdos for days, isn't funny any more)

    Now Natu can't even attack!!

    Good Point!
As said above by @Lord Goomy, Natu has a maximum of 40HP, not remaining HP.

This would immobilize Natu and disrupt Lost March decks

Interesting card design, guess it is just meant to counter night march/lost march
