Full ‘Celestial Storm’ English Set List!

We now have the full Celestial Storm set list thanks to PokeBeach user McWilbur, who posted it to our forums!

As posted before, our set is a combination of Japan’s SM7 Charisma of the Wrecked Sky and SM6b Champion Road.

Notably, Altaria-GX has been left out of our set. It is probably being saved for Dragon Majesty.

We’re finally seeing the release of Japanese promos Lunala, Palossand-GX, Solgaleo, Beast Ball, Hiker and Masked Royal. They have been exclusive to Japan since as early as April 2017!

The rainbow rare GX cards and secret rare Trainer cards are currently unknown, but it can be presumed they will be all the secret rares from SM6b and SM7, with the exception of Salamence-GX and Altaria-GX.

It appears “Crisis Potion” has been renamed “Last Chance Potion” while “Commandment Shrine” now is known as “Shrine of Punishments.”

Celestial Storm will hit store shelves on August 3rd. Prerelease tournaments will be held July 21st through 29th. You can find times and locations here.

Thanks goes to Bangiras for the Japanese translations below!

Great seeing the new setlist. The fact we are finally getting cards like Hiker, Masked Royal, and Palossand-GX is really cool, but kind of disappointed that we don't get Altaria-GX in this set.

The thing is that those wouldn't be included on the setlist sheet, as they are secret rares afterall.

They weren't on the leaked set list as the set list doesn't list SRs. However we can easily assume the srs are:
    169. Shiftry GX
    170. Blaziken GX
    171. Articuno GX
    172. Electrode GX
    173. Mr. Mime GX
    174. Banette GX
    175. Scizor GX
    176. Stakataka GX
    177. Altaria GX
    178. Rayquaza GX
    179. Acro Bike
    180. Hustle Belt
    181. Life Herb
    182. PokéNav
    183. Rainbow Brush
    184. Rainbow Energy

Set is pretty bad sadly. Only 5-6 cards that are actually decent in my opinion and that will actually see play.

Heres to hoping they can from now on not make us wait 6 months to a year, ex. Tapu Lele Psychic and Alt. Solgaleo/Lunala Gx's, to get cards that Japan players have gotten like with masked royal and Palossand Gx. Instead keep a more reasonable time frame like one set later on a couple months for promo stuff, but knowing Pokemon probably not.

    Question:

Has there ever been an English set where we knew 99% of what was going to be in the set, then then they add a card (like Palossand Gx and Masked Royal) that’s actually competitively good (NOT Palossand GX and Masked Royal)?

Regirock -- one strong energy + choice band + diancie prism = dead zoroark-gx. Dangerous combo before strong energy rotates out.

:0 set ain't super amazing play-ability wise, but man is the art in this set amazing. Is it just me, or do other people agree? I'm really loving this sets art.

Also, something really random and small: I love how Oricorio's attack is called Alluring Salsa xD

Also wow Palossand's GX attack can do a lot of damage. 13? That seems like a lot.

Alolan Rattata's attack: Call The Boss. Love it.

Rayquaza GX is scary. I'm playing it next format.

Exploud's attack is called 'Death Live' o_O

That's...a lot of trainers. While the new Hau art is cool, I would have been fine without it as well.
Cool that Masked Royal and Hiker are both in the set.
    Copycat. Yay!
I actually like that SSU art a lot.

and then the full arts. I love every single one of them. Honestly one of the best sets for FA's in my opinion. Especially Mr. Mime and Blaziken. I'm also gonna spend way too much money on FA Copycat.

Welp, that's my thoughts. This post probably looks extremely confusing and jumbled. I read through the thread and just wrote down my thoughts as I went:p

Victreebell might also make an interesting addition in a Sylveon control deck? Maybe not worth the deck space it would take to set up.

I happen to disagree simply because Hoen is AMAZING and in my opinion the best of all seven generations. I love retro art and will gladly add them to my collection. Plenty of cards will most likely see play in obscure decks. Not to mention some Pokèmon will most likely be playable in a few sets. 11/10 set.
