‘Fates Collide’ Prerelease Decks and Promos!

As I posted in this article, prereleases will now be giving out “Prerelease Decks” instead of just booster packs. Inside each deck package (which is actually a cool deck box), you’ll find four booster packs from Fates Collide, one “Evolution Pack”, and a prerelease tips pamphlet.

Each Evolution Pack features 22 cards focusing on two Fates Collide evolutionary lines of two different types. You can use as many of these cards as you want to build your 40-card prerelease deck in addition to Basic Energy and what you get in your booster packs.

The Evolution pack additionally includes a PTCGO code card and a promo, with the promo being of the same type as one of the two evolutionary lines. You can use the promo in your deck. The promos are XY127 Moltres, XY128 White Kyurem, XY129 Zygarde, and XY130 Tyranitar. They’re all reprints from Fates Collide with English-exclusive artwork and feature the set’s logo in the corner. There’s also Staff-stamped versions of each of them, meaning if you’re a collector, you have eight cards to collect.

At the end of the tournament, each player will also get three additional booster packs from Fates Collide, although it is up to the discretion of the tournament organizer how to award them (they may distribute all of them to the top finishers rather than giving three to everyone).
