100+ ‘Black & White’ Set Scans

We now have 104 Black & White set scans, as you can see below; click the thumbnails for larger images. We are currently missing real scans of Serperior (#6), Emboar (#20), Reshiram (#26), Samurott (#32), Krokorok (#64), Zorua (#70), Zoroark (#71), Water Energy (#107), Lightning Energy (#108), Darkness Energy (#111), and Reshiram (#113). If you pull any of these cards during your prereleases this coming weekend, please scan them and e-mail them to us! The set will be released in stores April 25th and prereleases take place over the next two weekends.

The regular holos in the set are printed on a paper which reflects horizontal lines; it is the same paper used for the holo promos in the Black and White Preview Tins. Unfortunately, the card borders are yellow whereas in Japan they were holo. Secret rares Reshiram and Zekrom are printed on a glossy paper which reflects several lines of rainbow light – it’s similar to the 2008 holo Pokemon League Energy, except the lines of light are sharper and more colorful. They also have a bit of a smooth texture to them. In Japan, the cards were printed on a very beautiful paper with patterns that almost looked as if they were engraved in the cards themselves – as if the cards were printed on a textured sheet metal.
