I was too tired to post these photos last night. I took two flights to Florida and left LAX around 11:00 PM Tuesday, and on the first flight, I was in the very first row and they wouldn’t turn off the lights where the flight attendants sit. On the second flight, the man next to me kept blowing gas and wouldn’t stop snoring, so I watched Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea on my laptop (while holding my nose, which lead to a headache). Needless to say, I slept in today. :D
Most of Wednesday, people just played the card game to practice for the Grinders and the main event. There were no video game players practicing with their teams, oddly. Since the TCG rooms had not been open to the public yet, most people just hung out in one of the Hilton’s open areas. Around 5:00 PM, the 24 hour play area opened, and people relocated themselves there (with the Hilton employees forcing others). Other than practicing, not much else went on during the day, and that will probably be the case with today too. The main Worlds event room is still being decorated, so no one has seen it yet.
These photos were taken around 9:00 PM in the hall where the event is going to take place and inside the open playing room. Click the thumbnails below for larger photos, and use your right and left arrow keys to scroll through the opened photos like a slideshow.
