June CoroCoro Issue’s TCG Page

Update: Added Dusknoir and Magnezone’s translations, thanks to Heerosferret.

CoroCoro June Issue - TCG Page

The June issue of CoroCoro’s TCG page has revealed the artwork for several cards and a few new tid-bits regarding recent Japanese cards revealed here. Click the thumbnail to the right for a much larger scan (it will open in a new window).

In the upper left hand corner next to Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky‘s theme deck package, you can clearly see the Magnezone and Dusknoir that will be featured in the two 30-card theme decks. Their translations are below.

Dusknoir LV.47 – Psychic – HP 120
Stage 2 Pokemon – Evolves from Dusclops

Poke-Body: Aura
If Dusknoir is your Active Pokemon, you may place one damage counter on each of your opponent’s Pokemon that has any energy attached at the end of your turn.

[P][C][C] Dark Mist: 60+ damage. If the Defending Pokemon already has 2 damage counters on it, this attack does 60 damage plus 20 more damage.

Weakness: Darkness +30
Resistance: Colorless -20
Retreat: 2

Magnezone LV. 46 – Lightning – HP 120
Stage 2 Pokemon – Evolves from Magneton

Poke-Power: Super Connectivity
Once during your turn (before you attack), you may search your discard pile for a Lightning or Metal Energy card and attach it to your Active Pokemon. Then, put one damage counter on that Pokemon. You can’t use this Poke-Power if Magnezone is affected by a Special Condition.

[L][C][C] Gyro Ball: 60 damage. You may switch Magnezone with one of your Benched Pokemon (do the damage before switching). If you do, your opponent switches the Defending Pokemon with 1 of his or her Benched Pokemon.

Weakness: Fighting +20
Resistance: Metal -20
Retreat: 3

Underneath the theme deck section, the 11th movie promo collection is shown. Each of the nine cards that come in the collection will be holographic, like the Giratina on the left side (whose translation is below, thanks to Bangiras). The borders will be holographic like EX and LV.X cards, making these promos rather unique. Shaymin Sky Forme is included in this promo set, and can be seen on the folder’s box art in the scan. All of these cards do not appear to have an owner in their name, meaning they could be potential candidates for American promos.

Reverse World Giratina LV.60 – Psychic – HP 100
Basic Pokemon

[P] Shadow Dive: Does 10 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokemon. Flip a coin, if heads prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to Reverse World Giratina during your opponent’s next turn.
[P][C][C] Will ‘o Wisp: 60 damage.

Weakness: Darkness (x2)
Resistance: Colorless (-20)
Retreat: 2

The third section and the right side of the page show cards from Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky that have already been revealed and translated. Curiously, Charizard is shown as being part of the booster pack’s artwork. Could its inclusion in the set have anything to do with this news story and the rumor of reprinted Base Set cards? Additionally, the Giratina on the right side of the page with the “2” above it is the one translated here earlier today. It will be given out to people who see the movie for free.

Thanks go to AAPF Kats for personally sending us this scan, and Bangiras for translating the information.
