Garchomp

Ugh… still working on the new website content and the new site layout. This stuff is never going to get done… I keep making pages that are supposed to be three paragraphs into full-blown essays (and I’m not talking about the simple five-paragraph ones with three body paragraphs, an intro, and a conclusion)! If only I could freeze time…

Garchomp Lv.X… Broken Land Shark – If you purchase a Mystery of the Lakes / Shining Darkness visual book in Japan, which features information and card images from both sets, you will also receive a Garchomp Lv.X (pictured below, along with the book it is from). Thanks to Bangiras (as usual), we have a translation of this card. It is a perfect combo with Garchomp from [Mysterious Treasures] (a.k.a. Mystery of the Lakes), and even Salamence ex. Free retreat, a free attack, and a free way to completely setup a knocked-out (or discarded) Garchomp

Garchomp Lv.XDiamond Pearl Visual Book

[.] Rebirth: Search your discard pile for a Pokemon card (excluding Pokemon Lv.X), and play it on your Bench as a Basic Pokemon. Then, you may search your discard pile for 3 Basic Energy cards and attach them to that Pokemon.

Resistance: none

More Gamestop Info – It seems that most Gamestops will be holding their Battle Revolution tournaments at 2 PM on Saturday. Depending on your Gamestop, there could be age restrictions as well – some Gamestops will not allow people above fifteen to enter, while most others will allow all ages to participate (although I don’t know how they will be able to tell if you are fifteen or not). The amount of people reporting that Gamestop has age restrictions for this tournament is limited, though – in calling the ones in my own area today (again), only one told me there was an age restriction (they don’t want teens/adults creaming the little kids, and parents getting mad, which is understandable, I suppose). If you are going to one of these tournaments, make SURE you call your Gamestop before you go. Ask them if legendaries are banned, what the battle format is, and what time the tournament is going to be held. You do not want to be disappointed or angry when you get there!
