Welcome to the 2012 Holiday Fakemon Contest! This season of contests will consist of three contests that take place over the next three months! The three themes are: Halloween, Thanksgiving, & Christmas! Each MONTH you will submit a Fake Pokemon creation (image & info) designed by yourself. The public will then vote on the creations for us to crown a winner of the contests.

DUE DATE: OCT 30th 11:59 PM

TO ENTER:
PM [mod]safariblade[/mod] the image of your fakemon. Make sure to include some info. While not all of this is required, keep in mind that you may put all of the following & more: Stats. LV up moves. Abilities. Dex flavor text. Height & weight. The more, the better! You have a whole month. Get creative!

Back in 2011, we had a series of 7 Fakemon contests. During the events, I kept a tally of the participants, along with their number of votes. We ended up with a really cool leader board. I plan on doing the same thing this time around, so I will post it here. I may also include a master board that includes the old one. So look for all of that!

Guess i´m in. I just hope I make something better, not like the abomination from last year. xD

Also... You may submit full evo lines of you wish. You can also submit as many images of your creation as you like. (Different angles or sketeches etc) However you must specify the one image that will be the main image for the fakemon.

I will have a submission in within a few days. I have the perfect Fakemon for the Halloween theme, and I've been meaning to use him in a contest setting.

Another thing. Consider this thread a brainstorming area. Feel free to post pictures or sketches and ask for ideas. Also, you can help each other with names, movesets, etc.

For example, I need you guys' opinions.
I want to redo one of my old Fakemon for this.
Should I redo Fantasmight or my Angourd line?

I'm not a fan of pumpkins (save for pumpkin pie). Jack-o-lanterns aren't something I consider worth making fakes of either. Zombies are a little easier to work with, hence why my entry deals in that idea instead.

I currently have the full tentative draft for Serpendoom. And if anyone is interested in critiquing it at any point of today, be my guest. Dex-entry, height, length, scientific origins, historic origins, any imperative facts about it will be included. It won't be until another day or so I will be permitted to post the reference photos of Serpendoom, though.

What's the status on all of the Fakemon, guys?
I'm pretty sure I am going to re-do Fantasmight. Still thinking of how i'm gonna do it.
